Trumpet Behavioral Health, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, will introduce its behavioral health services to Peoria in February at a new center location, 21505 N. 78th Ave., Suite 125.
Trumpet specializes in the treatment of children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities and currently provides center-based, school-based and in- home services throughout the country through a team of more than 800 passionate and highly-skilled individuals which include Ph.D. and Masters-level Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
Center-based services in the northwest valley will be provided through a circle of care that includes clinicians, therapists, and other team members, led under the direction of Abby Twyman, M.Ed., BCBA, clinical director of Trumpet’s Phoenix Autism Centers.
Twyman highlights the need for evidence-based autism therapy services in the area.
“Our organization has been successfully providing services throughout Phoenix for over four years and we’ve continually heard that more services are needed in the Glendale and Peoria regions. My team and I are excited to start serving children with autism and related developmental disabilities in this area.”
Trumpet Behavioral Health’s clinical services are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a systematic, evidence-based approach designed to address challenging behaviors and skill deficits in areas including communication and social skills.
Widely recognized as the most effective treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other exceptional behavioral needs, ABA is endorsed by the U.S. Surgeon General,
American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. It is the only therapy with more than 30 years of research proving its effectiveness for autism spectrum disorders.
