Hello, readers! Welcome back to Business Briefcase. From construction to new openings, from veterinary services to new restaurants and senior living communities, there’s always something going on in the business community. And this week there is no shortage of that. This time the column brings with it more of a focus on the new, rather than some of the usual networking events. Anyway, here’s the news!
First, Canyon State Veterinary Specialties is slated to begin construction next month. It should open early next year. The project will renovate an existing 11,580-square-foot space, adding 5,217 square feet for pet care.
“We are excited for our Canyon State Veterinary Specialties Hospital. Canyon State Vets will offer veterinary care by board-certified specialists in the areas of cardiology, dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, radiology and will also house a 24-hour pet-emergency and critical care center,” said Curt Coffman, managing partner of West Valley Veterinary Ventures LLC. “The new preeminent facility will allow for collaborative state-of the art veterinary care by multiple veterinary experts all under one roof.”
Canyon State Veterinary Specialties will have dedicated spaces for surgery, dentistry, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, endoscopy and CT. There will be 12 exam rooms, office space and a dedicated grieving space.
“We are thrilled to partner with West Valley Veterinary Ventures and Deutsch Architecture to deliver this high-quality facility,” said Mike Bontrager, regional president of Adolfson & Peterson Construction. “The ability to provide emergent and specialty care under one roof will be a boon for the surrounding community.”
Moving along, Hello Vietnam Pho & Roll is open at 25245 N. Lake Pleasant Parkway, Suite 1100, northeast of Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway.
As the restaurant’s name implies, Hello Vietnam offers pho with a variety of protein selections, from rare tender steak to brisket and beef meatballs. Toppings also vary, with selections like white onions, cilantro, scallions, bean sprouts, lime, basil and chili. Hello Vietnam also offers fried rolls and fresh rolls, steamed rice bowls, Vietnamese sandwiches and fully loaded bowls.
