Ignite Peoria Entrepreneurs describes itself as “an ecosystem of experienced entrepreneurs actively supporting other entrepreneurs.”
IPE is a new volunteer organization and catalyst group spawned from the Peoria Forward initiative from ASU and the city of Peoria.
IPE’s founding members are Chris Damron of My Life Mobile, Susan D. Swafford of CORE Advantage, Kalleen Satkus of Peoria Animal Hospital, and Michelle Cubas.
“We are entrepreneurs who have felt the pains and frustrations of launching our own successful businesses,” said Swafford.
“From startup to enterprise, IPE is here to be a resource for the West Valley community,” she added.
There is no cost to participate in the group, which covers everything from financing to working with city regulation.
Beginning Jan. 28, IPE will have monthly town hall meetings.
