Peoria’s Bull Shooters, an upscale pool hall and entertainment facility, says its spacious 26,000 square feet of space is ideal for “socially distanced fun for the holidays.”
Bull Shooters has 44 pool tables, 18 dartboards, pingpong and shuffleboard, plus horse racing and karaoke.
Bull Shooters owner Mike Bates is known to regulars as “Coach” or “Master Mike.”
“Everyone here has big hearts,” Bates said. “The customers always pitch in for charities and have helped raise over $250,000 through our fundraisers.”
Bull Shooters supports St. Mary’s Food Bank Drives and Toys For Tots.
This is a family affair: Julie, Mike’s wife, makes home-cooked holiday meals along with other favorites, while their daughter, Jamie, is one of the managers.
Bates is offering the 3,000-square-foot banquet hall for free for holiday events.
Bull Shooters is maintaining COVID-19 regulations, including operating at 50% capacity or less. Bull Shooters uses an antibacterial fogger every morning, with hand sanitizers near all games.
Bull Shooters is at 3337 W. Peoria Avenue. For more information, visit facebook.com/bullshooters or
