At its recent donor appreciation event, Benevilla honored leaders “who have influenced and made significant contributions to improving the lives of residents who live and work in our community.”

The virtual event gave Benevilla the chance to pass out awards and appreciation for the hard work, dedication and passion of its donors.

Sun City West resident Aloise Failing-Wrobel is the recipient of the Benevilla 2020 Bill Wolfrey Community Service award. “Aloise has been a true friend to Benevilla over the years, and we are so grateful for all she has and will continue to do to support our mission in the community,” said Jay Lickus, a Benevilla spokesman.

The city of Peoria was the Benevilla 2020 Business Leadership Award Honoree.

“The city of Peoria has been highly supportive of Benevilla for over 21 years. Through grant funding, sponsorship support and donations of in-kind office space they support our mission and encourage our work within their city,” Lickus said.

“Benevilla would not be the amazing resource it is today in the Northwest Valley without the support of our incredibly selfless donors,” said Sara Villanueva, Benevilla vice president of donor relations.

“We sincerely appreciate all they do for us and our community.”

Benevilla is a not-for-profit human services agency dedicated to enhancing the lives of West Valley residents by providing care services for older adults, intellectually disabled adults, children and families.
