Peoria’s Youth Advisory Board partners with HART Pantry

Peoria’s Youth Advisory Board is partnering with HART Pantry to provide food for at-risk youth. They are asking for juice boxes, fruit cups, pudding cups, applesauce cups, breakfast and protein bars, tuna and chicken salad kits, Austin/Lance cracker packs and Jif To Go peanut butter snack packs.

Donations may be made at the HART Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 18, at 9451 N. 99th Avenue. The HART (Helping At-Risk Teens) Pantry is a community outreach program that began in 2011 as a mission of the First Presbyterian Church of Peoria. Now it also provides weekend food bags to teens who do not have enough food when they are not in school. For more information on how to donate, contact the city of Peoria at 623-773-7070 or visit
