Peoria resident Denise Jaronik, a post-anesthesia care unit nurse at Abrazo Scottsdale Campus, was recognized for her exemplary service during a recent Tenet Hero ceremony.
The honor is part of Abrazo parent company Tenet Healthcare’s annual employee recognition program. The Heroes program celebrates individuals who make a meaningful impact within their respective communities that goes above and beyond their daily job responsibilities.
Nominated by colleagues, these staff members exemplify the company’s core values and key tenets of its Community Built on Care. Hospital leaders presented Jaronik with a certificate recognizing her incredible contributions in 2020.
Jaronik’s nomination noted she exemplifies dedication to the patient and family, leaves no stone unturned to provide the patient with the best care and service, is extremely generous with her time, volunteers with several organizations service veterans and seniors, and was named the hospital’s employee of the year in 2017.
“Denise has inspired us through her actions to make a positive and meaningful difference in our community,” said Naman Mahajan, Abrazo Scottsdale Campus chief executive officer.
