Benevilla participated in the sixth annual Give65 event, hosted by Home Instead Charities, to raise funds for its Home Services program.
The Home Services Program helps West Valley older adults and adults with disabilities stay in their homes for as long as possible by providing free volunteer assisted services such as grocery shopping, assited transportation to medical appointments, and phone pals.
Services are available short- or long-term to those with limited resources and options.
Give65 is a 65-hour online fundraising event to help nonprofit organizations serving seniors raise funds online and increase awareness. This year, the event ran from 6 a.m. July 13 to 11 p.m. July 15.
Benevilla raised over $9,490, which includes $500 in matching grants from Home Instead Charities.
