Some voters may have questions about the upcoming primary elections on Aug. 28. Early ballots, dates, locations, lines, times and deadlines … the process can be confusing. The city of Peoria is offering to help with a first-ever event: Q and A with the city clerk.
City Clerk Rhonda Geriminsky will be available at 5 p.m. Aug. 16 live on Facebook to answer voters’ questions. She will only be answering questions about the election process, not questions regarding candidates, platforms or opinions. Voters can submit questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org or ask the questions live through Facebook message during the broadcast.
Geriminsky said her office is trying to be prepared with cue cards.
“There are too many dates to remember,” she said.
So, set that dial and be prepared with your own list of questions.
