The city is offering assistance to those impacted by COVID-19.
Peoria residents can receive up to $500 per month to assist with utility bills and up to $1,500 per month to assist with rent or mortgage up to three months.
The program started Oct. 1 and will run until funds are exhausted.

Based on the data used to measure the community spread of COVID-19 cases in Maricopa County, the city of Peoria is modifying activities, events and facility operating hours.
The Peoria Community Center is temporarily closed to the public.
Financial assistance programs will continue to be offered through the Community Assistance Resource Center by appointment only.
In addition, limitations on group sizes of 10 or less will be implemented in city facilities and buildings.
Most city events and special interest classes have been postponed, modified or canceled, and all sports tournament rentals at city facilities scheduled until Jan. 8 have been canceled.
The Rio Vista Recreation Center and Peoria libraries will remain open with a mask requirement and social distancing protocols in place.
Community and neighborhood parks and trails will also remain open.
