Fairmont Village hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newly constructed and recently renovated memory care and behavioral memory care neighborhood in Peoria.
“We’re happy and thrilled to introduce our latest accomplishment to the city of Peoria, and we hope you can see and feel our passion for senior living and memory care” said Tara Mockbee, executive director.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for Fairmont Village marks the launch of a new era for the city of Peoria for state-of-the-art memory care and behavioral memory care. The property has 90 suites. Scot Andrews, president of Peoria Chamber of Commerce, made remarks regarding Fairmont Village.
Fairmont Village is a specialty memory care community developed to providing quality care to persons with levels of cognitive impairment. It promotes an environment in which residents can thrive and feel connected to their community.
Its experienced professional care team has extensive training. The program is helmed by clinical director Dr. Julia Lesselyong. The staff are trained weekly in nonpharmacological approaches to care to minimize behaviors and to enhance quality of life.
