The studio is at 8271 West Lake Pleasant Parkway, Suite 104. The free event is a way for those who work from home to be around people that share the same work ethic. It is a great way for people to focus on their work and to share ideas with others.

HomeSmart is hosting a West Valley Regional Meeting for the Arrowhead, Goodyear and Surprise offices from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov.4. The meeting will be held at the West Maricopa Association of REALTORS at 9001 West Union Hills Drive. It will allow you to meet other business partners and bounce off ideas from one another. ASU’s Entrepreneurs + Innovation hosts “Business Builder: Getting Started” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at Peoria Main Library. The event will be held in the multi-purpose room at 8463 W Monroe Street. The event will explore introductory topics for launching a new business.

Peoria Chamber of Commerce is holding a Biz Bites event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Giordano, 16222 N 83rd Avenue. The event will address “any business questions that you may have.” The event is free for chamber members, $15 for guests. Lunch is not included but there will be lunch specials starting at $6.95. Mayor Cathy Carlat named Lee’s Luggage and Shoe Repair her Business of the Month award. She named Bibiano’s Mexican Restaurant her Restaurant of the Month.
Lee’s Repair shop is at CrossRoads Plaza 6750 W Peoria Avenue, Suite 108. The repair store fixes not only shoes and luggage but also briefcases, duffle bags, backpacks, purses and more.
