Birt’s Bistro celebrating fathers with brunch

Locals can show appreciation to their fathers by treating them to a Father’s Day brunch at Birt’s Bistro on the Benevilla main campus in Surprise.

The bistro boasts a new innovative brunch menu planned in honor of fathers. Executive Chef Reuben Herrington has prepared a special menu featuring several dishes, which will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16.

Whether in the mood for breakfast or lunch, this brunch offers plenty of options. Below is a sampling of the Father’s Day brunch menu:

• Appetizers: Shrimp cocktail, classic bruschetta and Italian stuffed mushrooms

• Salads: classic Caesar and traditional Greek

• Entrees: Half rack of barbecue ribs, grilled ribeye steak, pan-roasted trout, chicken marsala, shrimp and chicken, and multigrain pancakes

• Dessert: Bread pudding, New York cheesecake and chocolate mousse

Celebrate dad with a complimentary 12-ounce beer.

Brunch also features a kids’ menu on request.
