The Peoria Sports Complex opens its gates at 5 p.m. May 12 for its second movie night of the season. Guests can enjoy an array of food trucks and kid-friendly fun throughout the stadium and field before the movie begins at 6:30 p.m. Showing on the new scoreboard and sound system will be 20th Century Fox Animation’s “Ferdinand.”

Admission and parking are free. Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed; no oversized umbrellas, canopies, tents or staking. Service animals are allowed, but pets are not.

Attendees will be allowed personal-size coolers only; all bags and coolers will be subject to search. Bottled water, juice boxes and baby formula will be allowed; but no soft drinks, sport drinks or outside alcohol. Beverages will be available for sale.
