Benevilla, the West Valley’s premier human services nonprofit, is seeking vendors to participate in the 7th Annual Benevilla Festival of Cheer taking place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 12 at Peoria’s Centennial Plaza Park.
The park is part of the Peoria civic complex, housing the main library, city offices, and police department. The annual event, which celebrates holidays and cultures from around the world had an attendance of more than 5,000 people in 2014.
The Festival of Cheer features performances by cultural organizations from around the Valley.
Last year’s entertainment included dancers representing Mexico and Germany, Taiko drumming, singers, and shows by the Wildlife World Zoo.
Each year, families also enjoy the Holiday Village with 20 tons of snow, bounce houses, face painting, fun and games - plus free photos with Santa in Santaland.
Vendors and cultural exhibitors are invited to visit FestivalOfCheer.com for an application. The event is free and open to the public, and is for people of all ages.
