Goodwill of Central Arizona is set to open its second Redesign store on the corner of Loop101 and Thunderbird Road 9 a.m. Dec. 14. The first 200 people in line outside the store will receive a $5 gift card good towards their next purchase at any Goodwill location.
The store address is 8679 W. Ludlow Drive, Ste. 5. Take Thunderbird Road west of Loop 101 to Rio Vista Boulevard, turn right, then turn right at the first street (Ludlow) and continue east until you see the signs for Goodwill Redesign. There is plenty of parking.
“It’s really exciting to bring the Redesign concept to the West Valley,” said Jackie Halleen, vice president of retail operations. “Our shoppers love the mix of new and old furniture, home décor, TVs, and kitchen accessories. The store is located in a growing area of residential homes and we know shoppers will appreciate being able to find great bargains.”
Andy Kroot with Velocity Retail Group represented Goodwill for its new store location at Loop 101 and Thunderbird.
“We have been getting a lot of inquiries from landlords who want to expand Goodwill’s Redesign concept,” Kroot said. “We were very happy to put a deal together with The Mack Company and look forward to opening more successful Goodwill stores in the Phoenix market.”
The Peoria store is only the second Redesign store in the Valley. The other Redesign store is at Scottsdale Road and Oak Street in Scottsdale. For more information about the Peoria location, after 9 a.m. Dec. 14, call 623-776-9045. The manager of the Peoria store is Jim Bourland.
