Bellevue Heights Church holding Holy Week activities

Celebration of Holy Week at Bellevue Heights Church will begin Palm Sunday, April 14, with two presentations featuring the chancel choir and the Apperson Strings.

A cast of local actors portraying Mary, the mother of Christ, Mary Magdalene, the Centurion, John the Beloved and the Angel will tell the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

The Palm Sunday concerts, titled “He’s Alive,” will be performed during the regular worship hour at 9:50 a.m., and 4 p.m. All is under the direction of Associate Pastor David Tomb. Everyone is invited, and there is no charge for admission.

A Good Friday service will begin at 6 p.m. and features special music, Communion and remarks by Senior Pastor Dr. Tim Andersen.

Special music will be a part of the contemporary worship service at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 20, and at the traditional worship service on Easter morning at 9:50. Andersen’s sermon topic at both is “Easter With Faith.”
