The city of Peoria is partnering with Street Market to bring Second Saturdays, a free event series taking over Old Town Peoria starting Saturday, Oct. 12 and occurring every second Saturday of the month through May 9, 2020.
Besides live performances, there will be interactive art and local vendors such as Iron Key Studio’s Dia de los Muertos exhibit, Norma’s Wish Boxes and Sew Ashtastic. Second Saturdays will also feature themed pop-up restaurants. The restaurants provide a unique, intimate dining experience complete with gourmet food, vintage furniture, dishware, linens and centerpieces.
For $30, attendees can pick one of three themed menus cooked by a professional chef: Frank Sinatra’s Favorites, One Night in Paris and A Taste of the Islands. Each Second Saturday will have different pop-up restaurant experiences from which to choose. Get your dinner tickets at www.peoriaaz.gov/specialevents.
