Woolbright not suited for judge position

Arrowhead Justice of the Peace 2018 … Phillip Woolbright has filed to run for the Arrowhead Precinct Justice of the Peace.

Woolbright has a proven record of being a law breaker. In 2012, the Arizona Supreme Court held that Woolbright had violated several items in the state’s code of judicial conduct, ordered him removed from office and banned him from performing judicial functions for a minimum of five years.

It is most interesting that six years later, Woolbright has decided to run for the position for which he was removed. What is disturbing is he seems to have begun right where he left off, by again breaking the law. He has posted his campaign signs throughout Sun City over a month earlier than prescribed by law. Certainly, not suited as a judge of the Arrowhead Court.

Craig Wismer was first elected to the court in 2012 to replace Woolbright, who had been removed from his seat by the Arizona Supreme Court earlier in the year. Wismer has established a reputation for being fair and approachable. Wismer has also proven to be of high integrity and professionalism — exactly what we need in this court.

Mark Craig Wismer’s name on your list to vote for in the upcoming primary Aug. 18. https://wismerforjp.com/
