First, will be a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Mariscos Mexicali LLC from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, September 28. The new restaurant is at 8427 W. Peoria Avenue. Calling all dog, cat and bird owners! Peoria’s Pet Market is a new family-owned store dedicated to dogs’, cats’ and birds’ needs. The shop isn’t, however, fit to help with other pets. It recently opened at 8978 W. Union Hills Drive, Suite 102. Business hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. With October rapidly approaching, it’s time for ADIO Chiropractic’s “Say Cheese!” event. On Friday, October 4, the ADIO Chiropractic at 7966 W. Thunderbird Road, Suite 102, will host a girl’s night out filled with creativity, charcuterie, wine and wellness from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets start at $10 per person and include admission, a drink ticket, charcuterie board, gift bag and entry into a drawing to win a custom charcuterie board. For October, the Peoria Chamber of Commerce has one event published. The chamber along with the Peoria Diamond Club will host a West Valley Chamber Night Fall Ball Mixer and Fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Avenue. Tickets for any West Valley chamber member are $10 but door entry costs $15. For nonmembers entry will cost $20 in advance, or $25 at the door.
